Acupuncture

Known in ancient times as the "horn method" because the original cups were in fact hollowed-out animal horns, this therapeutic method was common among the masses and has made a comeback in recent years.  Traditional uses include treating upper respiratory ailments such as cough and asthma and drawing out toxins (such as draining a boil).

Treatment time at Tao & Zen is a time to unplug and reconnect with oneself.  Often other medical professionals do not address the  patient's mental/emotional stressors as part of the their conditions.  We try to help the patient recognize how mind-body-spirit cannot be separated and teach stress management techniques in the form of simple meditative exercises.
